Book review: The Phoenix

We made in L/L writing a book review about the book called, The Phoenix. Here we explained why we recommend this story.

Here it is mine: 

The phoenix was written by Sylvia Tousand Warner in 1940. It's a very interesting adventure story.  

The story is about the life of The Phoenix. The Phoenix is a bird that is taken from his habitat by a man, when this man dies the bird goes with an other man, Mr Poldero. This new man tortured the bird because this bird didn't make him earn money. 

  The plot is full of action and revenge and the main characters are interesting, Lord Strawberry is a man who love birds, he has an aviary, and he only needed one more bird, The Phoenix. Mr Poldero is totally the opposite, he doesn't like birds, the only thing he like's is money. The Phoenix is a quiet, timid and colorful bird, he doesn't like to be shown to the public.

  To sum up, the book is an exciting story where action and revenge take an important role. If you like action, birds and revenge I recommend this story.
