The ring of fire

In writting, we did a task, in witch we had to talk about the ring of fire and his characteristics.

Here is the task:

Pacific Ring of Fire: The Pacific Ring of Fire is an area where a large number of Earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Is extended from South America and North America to Eastern Asia, Australia and New Zealand. This Occur in the basin of the Pacific Ocean. It is sometimes called the circum-Pacific belt

Volcanoes In The Area: The Pacific Ring of Fire has 452 volcanoes. It is believed that the Pacific Ring of Fire has a total of 452 volcanoes. Some of the world’s most active volcanoes are found here. The most active volcano that is called "Kilauea" is located in the ring of fire.

Most dangerous volcanoes: If Mt Rainier volcano erupts almost 2.5 million of people have to evacuate fast. The snowy cap of the volcano could make the dangers worse.

The Santa Maria volcano in Guatemala was one of the most catastrophic eruptions in the 20th century, back at that time the volcano affected a big part of the south west of the country. Today many more people is in the area so the impact of this volcano could be grater.

Mount Yasur in Vanuatu is what’s called a stratovolcano and it has been erupting for a hundred years. It presents real danger and yet tourists risk the dangers of toxic gases and lava flows by getting to the crater every day. The volcano has already took lives from tourists and for a tourist         guide.

Constant Changes: The Pacific Ring of Fire changes because of the tectonic plates. The Pacific Plate will hit other plates nearby and that causes them to sink. The crust melts producing the magma that feeds the different volcanoes in the Pacific Ring of Fire or it will help produce new volcanoes. The tectonic plates are also the reason for the many violent earthquakes in the entire area of the pacific.

Risks: If you are in a city located in the Pacific Ring of Fire there are risks factors that you have to be ready for. Almost the 90% of earthquakes reported are on The Ring of Fire. There are lot of volcano eruptions so is a dangerous zone to live.
